As in previous years the pond was very full with plenty of vegetation in August. The waterlily was flowering still and had a good number leaves. Some signs of Autumn were starting to appear by late August when these pictures were taken, such as yellowing leaves, however mostly the pond was still in very good shape and looking healthy.
An interesting perspective on the always succesfull tall and purple flowered plant. (Name? )

The bog has had its best year yet. The Darlingtonia is spreading well and getting larger year on year while the butterworts continue to seed themselves into a nice carpet. The sundews did well after a slow start too.
