February 2010

The winter continued to linger on through February although the snow did melt away for large periods of time during the month. The pond remained frozen for the majority of the month with or without the snow on top of it. As you would expect with weather like this there were no signs of life at all during February.

20th of Feb - Ice on the ponds surface with a tiny dusting of snow from the previous night.

24th of Feb - The snow returned just to make sure nobody forgot it was still winter.
